Bob Dylan is one of the most influential musicians and a prolific songwriter and author, whose contribution in music and arts of the second half of the XXth century is considerable. He was born as Robert Allen Zimmerman in 1941 in Minnesota, to the family of immigrants from Odessa, Ukraine. When Bob was 20 he relocated to New York and started pursuing a career in music by playing in various clubs and with various bands. In 1962 he released his first album in blues, pop-rock and gospel style influence. He met a large number of musicians like Joan Baez, Johnny Cash, etc. During the 1970s and 1980s, he continued experimenting with music and trying to find his own style, additionally collaborating with musicians like John Lennon, George Harrison, Mark Knopfler, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Ferry, and many others. His single "Like a Rolling Stone" became one of the most sold and most recognizable in the whole music history. Dylan took part in a large number of musical events and made many world tours playing in all corners of the world. He was an avid participant of various civil rights and anti-war movements.
