Cher (Cherilyn Sarkisian La Piere Bono Allman) is a famous American actress, musician, songwriter, stage performer, and social activist. She is sometimes referred to as a pop-diva, and she is famous as a holder of very important awards in the world of both music and cinema. She has got Grammy, the Academy Award, Emmy, and 3 Golden Globes. She was born in 1946 in California, and her mom was an actress, that is why since her early childhood Cher was exposed to the world of culture and acting. He father was an immigrant from Armenia, and the young Cherilyn haven't seen her father much until she was 11. When she was 16, the future star left her mom and moved to LA, where she met Sonny Bono, a good looking young man who worked in a recording studio. Quite soon they got married.
