Debbie McGee is a professional ballet dancer and actress, radio and television presenter, who actually became the most famous as the assistant of a British magician Paul Daniels. She was born in 1958 in Kingston, London, and received a brilliant classic British education. Since her childhood, Debbie was very interested in ballet, and in 1974 she won a scholarship to join the British Royal Ballet School. She continued her education in Tehran but due to the events of Iranian Revolution, she had to escape from the country. After being back to the UK, she managed to find a job in Yarmouth, in a local entertainment show. That was where she met Paul Daniels, a magician who was supposed to take part in the same show.Since 1980 Debbie started appearing in Daniels' show program It's Magic, which was increasingly popular and soon started being broadcast on the BBC Channel. The two worked together on creating various tricks and using various theatrical approaches to make their program more interesting. In 1988 Debbie and Paul got married. By that time, It' Magic had become a really popular entertainment program and it was shown in more than 90 countries of the world. Debbie gladly took part in many other TV reality shows including The X Factor, Master Chef, Wife Swap, The Farm, and so on. She turned into an important media personality and celebrity. Her husband, Paul Daniels, died in 2016, and Debbie continued doing plenty of charity work and spending time with her fans. She loves playing golf and breeding dogs.
