Dolph Lundgren is a Swedish actor and marital artist, a movie producer and director, who became famous for his role of a Soviet sportsman in the movie "Rocky". Lundgren was born in 1957 in the neighborhood of Stockholm and grew up in Sweden. In his childhood he was not thinking about becoming an actor and was interesting in sports, particularly marital arts and karate. He entered the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology to study chemical engineering and then moved to Sydney to continue studying this subject. In the 1980s he took part in a number of karate competitions and managed to win a few ones. In 1985 he was invited to star opposite Sylvester Stallone in the movie "Rocky IV" and the role made him world famous! After that, the doors opened to Dolph to develop his acting career, so he became a highly demanded actor and played in a large number of movies like "Red Scorpion", "The Punisher", "Cover-Up", "Universal Soldier" (with Jean Claude Van Damme), "Penthatlone", "Man of War", "Johnny Mnemonic" (with Keanu Reeves), "Silent Trigger", "The Peacekeeper", "The Black Jack", and others.
