James Dean was an iconic actor with exceptional charisma and look. Born in 1931 in Indiana, he grew up in a family of European origins. When James was in his early teenage, his family moved to California where the boy spent most of his late childhood. He was noticed by television scouts and first appeared in a Pepsi Cola commercial. Having appeared in the world of cinema and acting, Dean started getting seriously interested in it and took some acting courses. In the early 1950s, his cinema career started, and for his short life, he appeared only in less than a dozen movies, showing his great talent for acting. One of his movies "East of Eden" shot just a bit before his death, brought James Dean many awards and a lot of recognition. He also appeared on the Broadway stage. Dean was a great fan of racing and in September 1955 he died in a car accident on US Route 466. Dean was only 24 years old, but for his short life, he has managed to make a considerable influence on the world of cinema and American youth culture of those times.
