Jeff Bridges is an American actor and a singer, movie producer, and songwriter. He was born in 1949 in California to the family of Lloyd Bridges, a known TV actor, and Dorothy Bridges, who was an actress too. His elder brother, Beau Bridges, has also become an actor. After finishing school, Jeff moved to NY to join his elder brother and study acting. From time to time, Jeff appeared on his father's show, "The Lloyd Bridges Show", as well as in other projects of CBS like "Sea Hunt". His cinema career started in 1970s, with his roles in "The Last Picture Show", "Bad Company", "The Last American Hero", "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" (with Clint Eastwood), "Hearts of the West", and "King Kong", which opened the way to the young actor from western movies to drama and comedy movies.
