Julianne Moore is an American actress, who was born in 1960 and grew up in North Carolina. Her father was a soldier and he had Scottish origins, and his large family (Julianne has 2 younger siblings) used to live in different large and small towns due to the specifics of his work. Julianne became a student at Boston University and worked as a waitress to earn some money for attending the best local acting classes. She received her first acting job offer for a small TV series "At The End of Night", followed by her first movie, "As the World Turns", which brought the young actress Emmy Award. "Tales From The Darkside", followed by the movie "The Fugitive", where she starred with Harrison Ford, and then "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle". Her iconic roles she played in "Jurassic Park", "Boogie Nights", "The Big Lebowski", and of course "The Hannibal Lecter". In total, she played in over 80 movies and received an Academy Award in 2015, for her role in "Still Alice". Julianne is married and has two children, a boy, and a girl.
