Mr. T is a famous and easily recognizable American actor and TV personality, as well as a former wrestler and bodyguard. Born Lawrence Tureaud in 1952 in Chicago, he grew up in a very large family of the parents and their 12 children. Larry was the youngest child but his childhood was pretty hard since his father left the family leaving his mom with that many children to raise. Thus, Larry had to learn how to be organized and stand for himself in his very early age. He started receiving training in wrestling and after finishing high school worked as a bouncer and a bodyguard. His acting career began in the early 1980s when Mr. T appeared in one of Rocky movies. In 1983 he was invited to play one of the main roles in a TV series The A-Team which became extremely popular and made Mr. T famous all around the world. His other TV projects include a few wrestling related shows, as well as the series like T and T, I Pity the Fool, or the popular reality show Dancing With the Stars.
