Susan Sarandon (Susan Abigail Tomalin) is an American actress and a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She was born in 1946 in New York City, she was the oldest of her parents' nine children. After finishing a Catholic school she escaped from her classic traditional crowded family lifestyle, and she rose to prominence in the early 1970s, with a few successful roles in some TV series and movies like "Joe", "The Last of the Belles", "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", and others. She is a very talented and attractive woman, and there is a large number of movies and TV projects she took part in during her lasting career. Her roles in "Thelma and Louise", "Atlantic City", "The Client" brought her the Academy Award nomination, and she won the award for her performance in "Dead Man Walking". "The Witches of Eastwick" (with Cher and Michelle Pfeiffer), "Pretty Baby", "Stepmom", "Little Women", etc. Starting from the late 2000s her career went on a decline, but Sarandon was totally focused on charity, civil right, and anti-war activism.
