Tom Daley is a famous British diver and sportsman who despite his quite young age has already managed to achieve a lot in sports. Born in 1994 in Devon, England, he grew up Plymouth, alongside his parents and two brothers. He has been receiving plenty of training and practice in diving since his very early age, and the first success on the national level came to Tom in the mid 2000s. When he was only 10 years old he won his first National Junior platform competition becoming the youngest ever winner. Due to his cute looks and mature conduct as a child, Daley attracted a lot of attention and was the point of focus of the whole country. When studying in college he used to take part in plenty of competitions as well as social and especially charity projects. Two gold medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games became the first serious achievements of Daley on the international level. In the 2012 Olympic Games he won a bronze medal, and 4 years later Tom Daley brought one more Olympic bronze medal for the British team, together with Daniel Goodfellow in the synchronized platform. During the qualification rounds for the Olympic games Daley set a new Olympic record in the individual 10 meter platform diving.
